A recent drug bust in Norcross has brought to light the prevalence of methamphetamine in the area, with law enforcement officials seizing a massive 388 kilos of the drug from a storage facility.

According to the DEA, the street value of the seized methamphetamine is estimated to be around $1.5 million. The DEA worked closely with local law enforcement partners to track down the drugs, which were believed to be supplied by a Mexican cartel. One individual, who was in the country illegally, has been arrested in connection to the drug bust. The DEA emphasized that the size of the bust was not surprising, as methamphetamine has been increasingly prevalent in the area, outpacing the use of cocaine.
