Usher recently brought out Chris Brown as a special guest during his Las Vegas residency, and Chris performed several songs, including “Back to Sleep (Remix),” “Heat” and “Under the Influence.”
While on stage, Usher made sure to show Chris love and give him his flowers, as he told him, “I love you, for life. You a great. You’re a legend. We love you and gon’ continue to keep uplifting you, bro. I love you more.” Chris responded by giving Usher a hug as the crowd cheered. This comes amid people putting both artists in the debate for the title of “King of R&B.” Usher addressed the conversation earlier this year, as he told Bevy Smith, “I mean, you call me that, I’ll definitely carry it. I’mma tilt my crown knowing that I’m standing on the shoulders of all of the icons of our time.”Â
