50 Cent joined forces with Big Meech a month after the Black Mafia Family co-founder was released from federal prison, and it looks like they’re working on something.
As 50 Cent is an executive producer of the hit STARZ TV show based on the Black Mafia Family, BMF, fans couldn’t help but wonder if Big Meech would appear in the show. The actor who plays the BMF founder in the show is none other than Big Meech’s son, Demetrius “Lil Meech” Flenory Jr. Lil Meech has remained relatively silent about his father’s release but shared his joy in a since-deleted post.
Meech and his brother Southwest Tee founded BMF as a creative agency and Hip-Hop label in 1985. In the 2000s, federal agents deduced that the company was a mere front for a complex money laundering scheme.
According to the feds, BMF moved cocaine across the country, raking in more than $270 million in cocaine sales. The U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration leveled the cocaine empire in 2005 in a now infamous drug bust. Big Meech, Southwest Tee, and more than 100 co-conspirators were all arrested for their crimes. With BMF renewed for a fourth season, seeing where Curtis decides to implement Flenory will be interesting, or if Jackson will create something wholly original for the notorious figure.
