Osbourne posted a video on his YouTube channel on Wednesday, titled, “A personal note before moving forward on the loss of my father | Ozzy Osbourne,” recalling the moment he heard the news.
Ozzy Osbourne, the lead singer of British heavy metal band Black Sabbath and known as the Prince of Darkness, died on July 22 at 76 years old. The rocker had struggled with health issues, especially since 2003, following a near-fatal quad bike crash. He revealed a Parkinson’s diagnosis in 2020 and paused touring in 2023 after spinal surgery. Osbourne said he went through feelings of sadness, frustration and anger, but felt some relief that he was no longer in pain.
