YoungBoy was originally indicted on kidnapping and aggravated assault charges, but he cut a plea deal that allowed him to avoid prison time entirely. He pleaded guilty to misdemeanor simple battery family violence, received 12 months’ probation, paid a $1,500 fine, and attended anger management classes.
The violence in YoungBoy’s video mirrors the brutality Diddy showed when he attacked Cassie, an incident that ultimately triggered a federal investigation. Diddy’s case escalated from that video into federal charges for sex trafficking and prostitution-related crimes.
