Flavor Flav runs four days of parades, panels, and pool parties in Vegas for 150 female Olympians who finally get their flowers.

Flavor Flav put on the most wide-ranging women’s sports celebration Las Vegas has ever hosted this week, bringing around 150 female Winter Olympians and Paralympians to the Strip for the first-ever SHE Weekend. The four-day event ran July 16 through 19, standing for Sports, Hospitality, and Entertainment, and it delivered on all three from parade to pool party. Flav’s push for women’s sports goes back further than one tweet. After water polo captain Maggie Steffens went public in 2024 about athletes working multiple jobs just to compete, he traveled to Paris to personally back the entire U.S. Women’s Water Polo team when his manager had suggested he sponsor just one player.

Gold-medal hockey player Alex Carpenter told ESPN the scale of celebration at SHE Weekend was something she’d never experienced for women’s sports, with other hockey players like Taylor Heise and bobsled and skeleton athletes all saying the same. The weekend wraps today at Tailgate Beach Club, a new 50,000-square-foot sports pool venue at Mandalay Bay with over 125 feet of LED screens, where the athletes get a proper send-off.
