Kai Cenat’s facing a lawsuit after his bodyguard allegedly beat down a man at the Dominican Day Parade without any reason.
Dustin Batista filed suit against both Kai and his bodyguard Cuddy, alleging he got jumped at the 2025 Dominican Day Parade in the Bronx without any provocation whatsoever. The incident happened when Batista crossed paths with Kai and Cuddy while they were out celebrating, and things escalated fast from there. According to the lawsuit obtained by TMZ, Gilbert allegedly struck and punched Batista repeatedly while working as Kai’s security guard. Batista’s legal team is arguing he did nothing to justify the attack, didn’t threaten anyone, and never consented to any physical contact. Batista is coming after Cuddy directly for assault and battery, but he’s also targeting Kai on two separate grounds.
Kai hasn’t responded publicly to the allegations yet, and his team didn’t return requests for comment when TMZ reached out. The streamer’s been dealing with plenty of drama over the past year, from the Union Square riot situation to relationship issues, so adding a lawsuit to the pile isn’t helping his reputation. According to reports, he’s managed to dodge criminal charges in other incidents, but this civil case is a different animal entirely.
