Pooh Shiesty, whose real name is Lontrell Williams, Jr., was arrested on kidnapping and conspiracy to commit kidnapping charges in April. Though Gucci Mane has not been confirmed by federal officials as the victim, the indictment against Pooh Shiesty hints at the victim’s identity, and Gucci Mane has taken to social media to threaten and call out Pooh Shiesty. Trial is set to begin July 6, 2026, and will take place in Dallas’ U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas. According to the criminal complaint, three men were “kidnapped and robbed at gunpoint at a music studio located on Dallas Parkway, in Dallas, Texas” on Jan. 10. The victims were not identified by name, only by three sets of initials: R.D., M.M., and B.P.
Pooh Shiesty was signed to Gucci Mane’s label, 1017 Records, at the time and Gucci Mane’s real name is Radric Davis. One of the victims had a chain stolen bearing the numbers “1017” on it. According to prosecutors, Pooh Shiesty wanted to be released from his contract, but Gucci Mane declined, and Pooh Shiesty became “agitated.”
Gucci Mane eventually signed the paperwork, and Pooh Shiesty was accused of then taking his “wedding ring, watch, earrings, and cash.” Meanwhile, another victim was choked to the point of near unconsciousness, according to the U.S. Department of Justice.
The DOJ said earlier this year the arrests were made simultaneously in the Northern District of Texas and Western District of Tennessee. A day before the complaint was made public, on April 1, the FBI executed a search at Pooh Shiesty’s home in Cordova. According to the FBI, agents served “court-authorized warrants” at 9190 Beaver Valley Ln. the morning of April 1. That address, according to property records, was purchased by Pooh Shiesty in April 2023.
Defendants in the case include Rodney Wright, Jr. (also known as Memphis rapper Big30), Demarcus Glover, Darrion McDaniel, Terrance Rodgers, Kordae Johnson, Kedarius Waters, Damarian Gipson, and Pooh Shiesty’s father, Lontrell Williams Sr.
