Jamaican dancehall star Mr. Vegas clarified his controversial remarks, explaining why he called Nicki Minaj “fake” and labeled Drake a “culture vulture.”

The dispute centers on Minaj’s hit “Megatron,” which Mr. Vegas claims used the beat and melody of his song “Heads High” without properly crediting or compensating him. Despite reaching out to Minaj and her team, Mr. Vegas says he has yet to receive any publishing rights or royalties, leaving the matter unresolved and the earnings unpaid. He emphasized that even though the producer owns the instrumental, the use of his melody entitles him to a share of the publishing.
