Katt Williams recently stopped by the 7PM in Brooklyn podcast, where he reflected on meeting Kendrick Lamar early in the rapperās careerāback when Kendrick was still considering using his real name, Kendrick Duckworth, as his stage name.
Katt recalled how he instantly noticed a similarity between himself and Kendrick. The conversation quickly turned to Kendrickās ongoing feud with Drake, which Katt praised Kendrick for handling with unrelenting intensity. He also commented on Kendrick’s bold decision to perform in Drakeās hometown of Toronto, calling it a powerful statement. When the topic of Kendrick being called a āhaterā came up, Katt offered a different perspective:

Katt made it clear that heās a fan of both Kendrick and Drake, but said he respects Kendrickās courage to go after āthe bearāāreferring to Drakeāand try to take him down.
