In an interview with The Breakfast Club released today, Furtado talked about embracing her ADHD, which wasn’t diagnosed  until she was in her early 40s.

Canadian pop star Nelly Furtado has dropped her first album since 2017. Furtado released her first album Whoa, Nelly! in 2000 which resulted in two top 10 singles on the Billboard Hot 100, “I’m Like a Bird” and “Turn Off the Light.” The musician has one Grammy for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance which she won in 2002, and seven Grammy nominations. The singer’s latest body of work features 14 songs, including its title track “CorazĂłn,” which Furtado said took her two years to write.Â
