Sydney Leday is speaking out for the first time after being shot in the shooting incident that killed Migos rapper Takeoff.
The 24-year-old told KHOU11 that she was celebrating her birthday and Halloween with a group of friends the night of the shooting. Leday said that things were going good until she saw Quavo getting mad while playing in a dice game. She added that she and some friends started running from the scene, but she fell to the ground after feeling a stinging sensation in the back of her head. Sydney’s friends drove her to Memorial Hermann Hospital, 12 minutes away from where she was shot. Leday says she suffered a seizure on the way to the hospital. She then added, “I was in the hospital for about a week. I didn’t really want to be there. I really just can say I’m grateful to be here.”Â
