According to Atlanta’s WSB-TV, Gunna has pleaded guilty to a racketeering conspiracy charge during a court hearing.

Gunna was one of 28 members of YSL to be arrested earlier this year. WSB-TV’s Mark Winne reports that Gunna entered an Alford plea deal, where he pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to violate the Racketeer Influenced and Corruption Act charge while also maintaining his innocence. 

Gunna will reportedly be freed, as he was sentenced to five years, with one year commuted to time served. The remaining four years will be suspended under special conditions that Gunna will be ordered to complete, including 500 hours of community service. It has not been revealed when he will be released from jail. Gunna released a statement following his sentencing, which reads, “While I have agreed to always be truthful, I want to make it perfectly clear that I have NOT made any statements, have NOT been interviewed, have NOT cooperated, have NOT agreed to testify or be a witness for or against any party in the case and have absolutely NO intention of being involved in the trial process in any way.”Â
