Showtime released the trailer for the new Rick James documentary, Bitchin’: the Sound and Fury of Rick James, which will premiere on September 3.
The 2-minute clip highlighted the rise of James’ career, along with the lows, including the “Super Freak” artist serving three years in prison from 1993-1996. Ice Cube and Bootsy Collins were seen speaking about James, who died in 2004 of cardiac failure, and the greatness that he brought to the music world.
