According to reports, Stephanie Grisham, the first lady’s chief of staff, and Sarah Matthews, White House deputy press secretary, both stepped down amid the controversial MAGA insurrection at Capitol Hill on Wednesday.

In addition to Grisham and Matthews, reports say National Security Advisor Robert O’Brien and Deputy National Security Advisor Matthew Pottinger are considering resigning over the insurrection. The blowback from Wednesday’s events are certain to dominate the news cycle for the rest of this week and could be a precursor for President-Elect Joe Biden’s inauguration on Jan 21.
