One of the wealthiest men in the world, Berkshire Hathaway CEO Warren Buffett is offering some advice to entrepreneurs or anyone on the grind to be successful – doubling your worth won’t produce more happiness.

Buffett, who holds the third position on Forbes wealthiest man in the world list, gave his insight as to why he believes having more money doesn’t produce happier people during an interview with CNBC’s Squawk Box.

“I wasn’t unhappy when I had $10,000 when I got out of school,” Buffet explained. “I was having a lot of fun.” Buffet, who net worth hovers in the area of $88 billion, reiterated his message by explaining that an unhappy person with $100,000 will think “$1 million is going to make you happy”, but according to the billionaire mogul “it is not going to happen.”

Buffet stated that those who look to money as their only source of happiness will always “look around” and judge their worth against someone who has more. “You will not be way happier if you double your net worth,” said Buffet.  The 87-year old famed investor believes you should enjoy the journey of getting rich instead of the money the comes. “you can have a lot of fun while you’re getting rich.” he added.
