In what is surely a groundbreaking policy, Los Angeles International Airport is now allowing travelers to fly out of the airport with marijuana.

TSA says they will not stop or arrest anyone who has weed on them during the security check. In a statement regarding the new policy, LAX stated, in part, “[i]n accordance with Proposition 64, the Los Angeles Airport Police Department will allow passengers to travel through LAX with up to 28.5 grams of marijuana and eight grams of concentrated marijuana.”

However, TSA can still refuse a traveler from boarding a flight if the amount exceeds the one-ounce limit set in California.
