Nearly three months after HBO’s announcement that LeBron James’ reboot of House Party had been shelved comes a movie trailer that indicates the project will finally see the light of day.

A two-minute clip of the upcoming film was released on Friday. The latest installment of House Party appears to be a departure from the original series because this time around, the party-goers appear to be celebrating at a mansion instead of inside the home of one of the principal characters. The film was co-written by Donald Glover’s younger brother, Stephen, and it stars Jacob Latimore (The Chi). It also features cameos from celebrities such as Snoop Dogg, Kid Cudi, and Christopher Reid (aka Kid).

House Party is tentatively scheduled for release on December 9th. Scroll up to watch the movie trailer.
