According to reports, a traffic stop in Payson, AZ led to a $3 million drug seizure made up of a combination of fentanyl, cocaine, and meth. 

Two men, Juan Jose Haro Aranda, 23, and Carlos Higuera Rivera, 27, were arrested around 3:20 AM when deputies conducted the stop on a black Jeep Grand Cherokee after they “observed indications of criminal behavior.” 

The search yielded approximately 35 pounds of blue pills suspected of being fentanyl, a pound of white powder suspected of being cocaine and a small amount of a crystalline substance suspected of being methamphetamine in addition to a firearm. Both men were charged with possession of a narcotic drug, possession of a narcotic drug for sale, transportation of a narcotic drug, possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia; in addition, Rivera was charged with possessing a firearm in commission of a drug offense.
