Tiffany Haddish recently sat down for an interview with Jimmy Fallon, where she started off addressing her recent break-up with Common and being arrested for a DUI.
Tiffany joked about asking God to send her a good man, and he came through with four men in uniform, referring to the police that arrested her. Tiffany added, “And now I got a really great lawyer, and we’re going to work it out. I’ve got to get my asking of things to God a little better!”
Things then took a more somber tone, as Tiffany spoke about Bob Saget’s recent death, and she revealed that Saget was a mentor of hers. Tiffany explained, “[Saget] was like a big mentor to me, a big brother, a father figure. He meant a lot to me,” Haddish said. “Funny man. He was the first white man to ever tell me, ‘Just be yourself, just be who you are, Tiffany. Don’t worry about nothing. Just be you.’ That was huge for me.”
