T-Pain recently spoke to Bootleg Kev and DJ Hed and revealed that he turned down a $900,000 signing bonus from Interscope Records and signed with Akon for $20,000 instead.
T-Pain noted that he chose Akon over Interscope because the mogul told him personally he wanted to make sure the singer had a long career. T-Pain went on to point out that Akon was the only one talking like that in meetings, which is why he signed.
