Elon Musk unveiled a new starship during a SpaceX presentation. The vessel, which is named the Starship Mk1, should be set for a suborbital test flight within 1 to 2 months according to Musk.

Musk and SpaceX noted that their goal is for the Starship to fly three to four times a day. With all their planned testing, SpaceX says:

“ The Starship (and its Super Heavy booster) will be able to carry up to 100 people to the moon, Mars or other destinations in space or around Earth, he said. It will stand 387 feet (118 meters) tall and be completely reusable, with quick turnarounds.”

During the SpaceX presentation, Musk said “This is the fastest path to a self-sustaining city on Mars.” SpaceX’s goal is to have people on rockets as soon as 2020.
