SpaceX Launch Sparks Alarm Over UFOs in Southern California

The launch of SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket last week sparked alarm in Southern California to those unaware of the event, which took place at Vandenberg Air Force Base. The rocket was carrying 10 satellites to low-Earth orbit, which will be included in a constellation operated by Iridium Communications. Various stages of the launch were caught on social media, as people pulled over on the side of the road, bewildered at what they were witnessing.

Peep the footage below:

The launching of SpaceX Falcon 9 provided a wondrous sight over the California skies that has by now been viewed around the world and created conversation on a range of related topics. But for a few unlucky drivers, the attention the rocket commanded shortly after it took off from Vandenberg Air Force Base, would nearly prove deadly.

A recording taken from the dashcam of a motorist who marveled over his illustrious view of the rocket – shows the moment a vehicle came skidding in front of oncoming traffic. While many driving along local highways and roads pulled over to enjoy the flight, others slowed down to get a glimpse, but none-the-less kept their cars in drive. The result was a pile-up on one Cali motorway. According to reports, the white car that comes flying into the view of the footage made the mistake of slowing up in the fast lane. In an instant, an SUV that had been trailing the vehicle, came plowing ahead. After swerving out of the way to avoid a collision with the car, the driver behind the recording begins to bicker with his family as they plead for him to pay attention to the road. But within moments they were back to chatting about the launch.
