Snoop Dogg went off about how streaming is hurting the entertainment industry as a whole because payment to artists and employees has yet to be figured out.
The rapper slammed the way streaming is currently laid out while speaking at the 2023 Milken Institute Global Conference. Snoop went on to point out that he has been in the game long enough that he remembers getting paid off of physical album sales. This led to Snoop pointing out that the writers strike currently happening in the entertainment industry is due to streaming causing an issue with employees being fairly paid.
