While being one of the most respected emcees in the game, Pusha T has also been putting a lot of work in on the executive side as president of G.O.O.D. Music and has decided to expand his executive reach by starting his own label, Heir Wave Music Group.

During an event earlier this week at Defiant Studios in Richmond, VA, Pusha T announced the launch of the label and said its mission is to promote talent coming out of Virginia.

He introduced his first signee, Kahri 1K and told the audience at Defiant:

“As far as Virginia goes… I sort of feel like we haven’t established a circuit that’s really our own…now with the label, that’s one of the things I’m trying to do. Now that we got this label, I’m trying to also establish a circuit you can all call your own. Just all over Virginia. I felt like Kahri and Kahri’s project would be a great one to start this whole campaign.”
