President Joe Biden revealed he tested positive for COVID-19 and was isolated for five days. From there, Biden tested negative. Now, the president has taken to Twitter today (July 30) to say he’s tested positive for COVID-19 again. White House physician Kevin O’Connor said Biden’s current condition is a “rebound” effect that happens with a small percentage of people who get COVID-19 and are treated with PAXLOVID.
“Folks, today I tested positive for COVID again. This happens with a small minority of folks. I’ve got no symptoms but I am going to isolate for the safety of everyone around me. I’m still at work and will be back on the road soon.”
