Reports that Pop Smoke was at home in the Hollywood Hills when two armed men dressed in hoodies and masks broke inside. Multiple shots were fired in the incident, fatally wounding Pop Smoke.
The murder might’ve been a targeted hit, according to people who have seen the surveillance footage. According to TMZ, the footage shows four men sneaking around the back of the Hollywood Hills home that the “Welcome to the Party” rapper was staying at around 4:30 am.
3 of the men are then seen walking to the front of the house while the fourth man walks in the back door. Once inside, the shooter fires several shots, which fatally wounded the 20-year-old rapper. The shooter wasn’t seen taking anything from the home, leading many to believe that the motive was not a home invasion robbery as it was originally reported.
