Yesterday, the name PnB Rock was added to the growing list of emcees who have been fatally gunned down in Los Angeles, California.
The group of late rappers now includes the likes of Biggie, Nipsey Hussle, and Drakeo The Ruler. A few weeks before his passing, PnB Rock engaged in a foresightful discussion with DJ Akademiks on his Off The Record podcast about a close encounter that he had with gang members during a recent visit to Los Angeles with his family about how he would not allow himself to be caught off guard by a would-be assailant. In hindsight, that interview turned out to be alarmingly insightful and a tragic precursor to PnB Rock’s untimely death.
