Pharrell and Timbaland Debate Who Has The Better Jay-Z Catalog

Recently Swizz Beatz held a birthday party in Cognac, France, where he invited an all-star array of guests, including his wife Alicia Keys, Pharrell, and Timbaland. 

While sitting at a candle-lit table, Pharrell and Timbaland could be seen debating who had the better catalog of Jay-Z-produced songs, with each other producers championing each others’ records. Pharrell told Timbaland, “‘Dirt Off Your Shoulder’! What are we doing? ‘Dirt Off Your Shoulder’!”

Pharrell mentioned that Tim was going through his Rolodex to figure out which songs he had, which caused Timbo to say “No! I’m going through your Rolodex! It’s so many!” Pharrell eventually referred to the “Indian Flute” producer as the “King of Jay-Z records.”
