Nas’s latest album NASIR was one of the highly anticipated Kanye-produced projects that released last year.
A part of a series of albums that featured just seven tracks, respectively, NASIR boasted a Slick Rick sampled song that touched on the reality of police violence and the state-sanctioned death of Black men and boys. Nas gave the socially charged track a visual treatment that captures the message and grim reality of the song.
