Many states implemented a lockdown and issued stay-at-home orders to slow the spread of the coronavirus. Businesses and companies were affected by the shutdown, and the concert industry was hit hard because some venues were not deemed “essential.”

Now, Missouri has revealed the state will allow live concerts to resume, starting next week. Missouri Governor Mike Parson recently released the ‘Show Me Strong’ recovery plan that outlines how the state will move forward with re-opening, starting on May 4. A representative from the Department of Health and Senior Services in Missouri not that concerts don’t have to follow the same occupancy rules as retail businesses. However, event organizers are reportedly required to keep people at shows six feet apart from one another.
