The latest trailer has just been released for Avengers: Endgame, and within the 2-minute teaser the remaining heroes promise to do “whatever it takes.”
The preview opens up with a glimpse back at Marvel’s first film in the MCU franchise, Iron Man, where Tony Starks reflects on all the circumstances that led up to the dramatic climax of Infinity War. From there we see Captain America’s origins when he enlisted into the army during World War II, as his late-love Peggy Carter narrates the scene by saying: “The world has changed, none of us can go back, all we can do is our best and sometimes the best we can do is to start over.”
Ultimately the remaining Avengers can be seen suiting up for a battle with Thanos, wearing brand new outfits as they repeatedly vow to win doing “whatever it takes.” The trailer then concludes with Thor and Captain Marvel engaging in a friendly stare-down, the latter of whose solo film has already grossed over $500 million worldwide and is destined to cross the $1 billion mark.
Marvel will release Endgame on April 26 in theaters nationwide.
