Much like shark attacks, animal experts have suggested that the notion of a mountain lion blitzing a human being is extremely rare.
But if recent video evidence has taught us anything, it’s that those instances do occur. A hunter recently went viral after he shared footage of an intense encounter with a mountain lion who completely debunked the theory that they have no interest in attacking people. Luckily for this person involved, he was armed with a semi-automatic pistol. With the mountain lion in hot pursuit, the hunter fired off warning shots, to no avail as the hunter soon realized he was going to be on the menu if he didn’t maintain his distance by back peddling swiftly. Thankfully, he survived the encounter, although the mountain lion did charge at him.
