The Los Angeles Clippers broke ground on their new arena which is set to open for the 2024-25 NBA season.
The new arena will be in Inglewood, CA, the former home of the Los Angeles Lakers. However, Clippers governor Steve Ballmer is looking for this move to mark a new day for the Clippers’ identity. “We needed to say, ‘We’re our own guys. We don’t play in the same place as the other guys. We’re going to have our own identity,'” said Ballmer.
