LL Cool J Speaks on Why He Chose Q-Tip to Produce New Album Over Dr. Dre

LL has been gearing up to release a new album and recently spoke about the process of creating.

The legendary emcee revealed that he and Dr. Dre were working together on the album, but he shifted gears during the process. While talking to Angela for her show ‘Way Up With Angela Yee,’ LL revealed how much material he and Dre worked on. He then said he felt he wasn’t expressing himself in the way he wanted with his writing during the process. The rapper said he and Dre paused on their work for a minute when he had a dream where Phife of A Tribe Called Quest came to him.
