Lil Wayne Showed Up to 45 Mins Late to Show, Had Mic Turned Off After 15 Mins

Lil Wayne had his performance at the Metro Metro festival in Montreal cut short after showing up 45 minutes for his set. 

Weezy’s set was scheduled to begin at 10:00PM but the rap legend didn’t make his way on stage till roughly 45 mins later and got through a handful of songs before the 11:00PM city-imposed curfew went into effect, shutting down the lights and turning off his mic. While Metro Metro didn’t provide any info as to why Lil Wayne was late, the festival’s social media team tweeted, “We apologize for Lil Wayne‘s abbreviated performance. He arrived at the festival at 10:45 and curfew is at 11.”
