It didn’t take Lebron long to make his decision and take his talents to Los Angeles.
Now, the Lakers are scrambling to put together a competitive team around him but according to new reports, LeBron isn’t pressuring the team to land a big name superstar this summer. LeBron signed a 4-year deal which shows that he’s committed to the Lakers and Magic Johnson’s vision. The major story in LA is whether or not they’ll get Kawhi Leonard. The Spurs forward has expressed that he wants out of San Antonio and wants to be in Los Angeles. Some reports claim that he wants to play for the Clippers to avoid playing alongside LeBron but other reports refute those claims.
Lakers are rumored to be working on other trades aside from Kawhi Leonard who they feel they can land in free agency. One of the names to come up in the last 24 hours was the Portland Trailblazers star point guard Damian Lillard.
