A Canadian woman named Corinea Stanhope set up surveillance outside her home in Powell River, British Colombia, to investigate a deer carcass that had been left unattended in her garden.

Corinea hoped to capture footage of a bobcat feasting on its prey so that she could watch the video with her grandfather. But when they reviewed the footage, they were met with a startling discovery. The feasters were two naked women partaking in what she described as a “Carcass Eating Ritual.”

The 36-year-old continued: “You can’t really tell from the photos, but the hoof was brought right up to her mouth…I don’t know if she was kissing it, smelling, or eating it, but to touch a decaying carcass like that makes me feel sick. The amount of bacteria that must have been on there…I was concerned about them messing with my horses at night. The horses always get really spooked and unnerved around that area. I thought they imagined stuff at first, so I didn’t think anything of it. Maybe I believe them now.”

Despite fearing for her safety and the well-being of her animals, Corinea opted not to call the police after her grandfather suggested that the witches didn’t break any laws.  Instead, she expressed hope that the incident was due to a “good trip” on drugs or an over-the-top prank.
