Following the news that the Nets nabbed both Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving, Brooklyn-native Joey Badass hinted that he might have played a part in Durant’s decision to leave the Warriors.
Joey revealed that he’s actually an ambassador for the Nets, telling Angie Martinez, “Nobody knows I’m like the ‘Ambassador Dude. Nobody knows I’m talking to Kevin Durant right now.” He reposted the interview on his Instagram page with the caption, “Imma just leave this here… BROOKLYN! 👑🏀.”
