It’s been nearly two years since the COVID-19 pandemic ran rampant through medical practices and healthcare establishments all over the country.
America is still recovering, financially, structurally, and from a mental standpoint. When speculation about the dangers of a virus on the horizon called “Monkeypox,” slowly began to surface in mainstream media outlets in the U.S. and Europe, President Biden did not attempt to downplay what may be in store for the public in the not too distant future by indicating that the sickness is something they should be “concerned about.”
The 46th President of the United States also addressed the public by stating that his staff was monitoring the situation closely and that the U.S. health officials already have a vaccine on hand, in the event that a breakout occurs stateside. President Biden was straightforward about the consequences that the public may face if Monkeypox were to become a severe pandemic in the vein of COVID-19.
