According to reports, a 72-year-old farm boss named Luan Nam was eaten alive by his own crocodiles at his family’s facility in the city of Krong Siem Reap (Cambodia) on Saturday around 5 am.

The incident occurred when Luan tried to remove one of the crocodiles from an “egg-laying cage” with a wrangler stick. The reptile met Luan’s attempt with an abrupt maneuver, turning around and yanking the farm boss into the water pit, where the others quickly pounced on him and ripped him to shreds before devouring him. Luan was the president of Cambodia’s Crocodile Association. The country has several crocodile farms that are used to house the animals for meat and leather.
