DJ Drama took to social media to give props to Omar Epps for inspiring him to push for success as a DJ.
While on Instagram, DJ Drama could be seen walking with Epps, who was behind him, while saying, “Now listen: the Grammys, Gangsta Grillz, the parties, none of that if it wasn’t for this man right here. Still DJ GQ to me man, legendary. Yo, I wouldn’t be a DJ if it wasn’t for him. Inspiration, love.”
DJ Drama was referencing Epps’ role as DJ GQ in the 1992 movie ‘Juice’ where he starred alongside Tupac Shakur. News of this comes after Drama and Jeezy dropped another iteration of his ‘Gangsta Grillz’ series called ‘SNOFALL.
