Diddy and educational speaker Dr. Steve Perry formed a partnership that finds them launching their third charter school—Capital Bronx Prep. Diddy and Perry’s other campuses are located in Harlem and in Bridgeport, Connecticut.
The locations have reportedly offered education to thousands of students since their openings. Diddy spoke on the newest location, noting the school will open via remote learning with the intention of transitioning to “hybrid/in-person” schooling once COVID-19 precautions are eased, and it is deemed safe. Diddy said, “We’re not just teaching reading, math, and coding. We are grooming future leaders that will change their communities and the world.”
