Recently, former Governor of New Jersey and Trump supporter Chris Christie spoke to George Stephanopoulos for ’This Week’ on ABC and was asked about Trump’s pending transition.
When asked if it was time for Trump to concede, Christie said, “yes.” Christie noted that Trump had had access to the courts to flesh out his claims of voter fraud. Christie took it a step further, saying Trump’s legal team and their moves have been a “national embarrassment.” He called the way the legal team has been acting outside of a courtroom “outrageous conduct.” Christie noted that he supported the president and voted for him twice. However, the way he is moving about with not conceding is not helpful and said it is wrong.
