According to reports and an announcement by the general manager of the Brooklyn Nets, Kevin Durant is staying with the New York team.
General Manager Sean Marks said:
“Steve Nash and I, together with Joe Tsai and Clara Wu Tsai, met with Kevin Durant and Rich Kleiman in Los Angeles yesterday. We have agreed to move forward with our partnership. We are focusing on basketball, with one collective goal in mind: build a lasting franchise to bring a championship to Brooklyn.”
News of this comes Durant asked for a trade request in June 2022 and doubled down on the request during a meeting with Joe Tsai while in London this month.
