Vlad spoke about not being contacted for the Grammy’s celebration of 50 years of hip-hop, and Boosie explained that no one has a catalog of “real music” like him.
When Vlad brought up Scarface, Boosie stated that he’s said more real things than Scarface outside of music. Vlad then spoke about the impact of The Geto Boys on Southern hip-hop, and he went on to speak about Willie D having an issue with Scarface performing “Mind Playing Tricks on Me” at the Grammys. From there, Vlad spoke about kids telling him that hip-hop wouldn’t be long-lasting when he was growing up, and he went on to speak about regional genres. Speaking more about the Grammys, Vlad asked Boosie about the rumored drama between Quavo and Offset backstage at the awards show.
