Eminem recently dropped the 11-minute freestyle which he titled “Kick Off.” Em explained where the inspiration for the freestyle came from via Twitter.
The rapper said “The release of BODIED has me feeling nostalgic about battle rap so I headed down to my old stomping grounds.” The stomping grounds he’s talking about is The Shelter at St. Andrews Hall in Detroit. For those unaware, ‘BODIED’ is a battle rap satire.
